Igreja do Corpo Santo

Convent built by initiative of Fra Domingos do Rosário, in an area offered by D. Afonso VI. The earthquake of 1755 destroyed it. In 1758 the reconstruction began, being its location slightly moved to west. It is a religious architecture construction from the Marquês de Pombal period.
Igreja do Convento dos Capuchos

Founded in 1570, it was later the object of successive repairs that altered the original outline. The classification includes the mouth of the cistern covered with glazed tile existing in one of the yards and still the decorated dependencies, including the cloister and the noble staircase. Presently, it is occupied with the Santo António dos Capuchos Hospital.

The Church, preceded by a double staircase features the façade flanked by two bell towers defined by pilasters and wedges of stonework, and is topped by a triangular pediment double. Inside of a ship, the profusion of talha and the paintings that adorn the walls.
Convento da Igreja de São Francisco de Paula

The façade is ended by two robust towers. The inside is covered with rich materials and encloses some canvas and the tomb of Queen Dona Mariana Vitória, sculpted by Machado de Castro.
Igreja de São Miguel

This church is notable building for its opulence and grandeur. Its foundation goes back to the first nationally times. In 1673, began its reconstruction that finished only in 1720. Its façade grows in height, with the two bell towers. The inside is one nave only, with wood ceiling. Worthy of notice are the 16 canvas, cased with gold wood carving and the main chapel.

Religious baroque architecture parish church. The inside, totally remodelled a few years ago, presents a single nave and a chapel rectangular, juxtaposed and covered with wood ceilings.

Church with a simple façade that only has one bell tower. Inside we can admire the XVIII century carving and some paintings cased with golden woodcarving.
Igreja do Menino de Deus

This construction was ordered by Dom João V, in 1711. Inside are worthy of notice the paintings of the altars, the colouring of the marble built-in, the pictorial decoration of the ceiling and the baptistery at the sacristy.
