O Museu do Holocausto do Porto foi criado pela Comunidade Judaica do Porto e pretende traçar um retrato da vida judaica antes, durante e após o Holocausto. Os visitantes terão oportunidade de observar uma reprodução dos dormitórios de um campo de extermínio, uma sala de nomes de vítimas do nazismo, um memorial da chama, fotografias e ecrãs exibindo filmes reais. Entre os objetos que integram a exposição permanente, destaque para dois Sifrei Torá (rolos/livros da Torá) e a repodução da entrada do campo de concentração de Auschwitz, com a frase "Arbeit Macht Frei" (o trabalho liberta).

The Almeida Garrett library is located at the Palácio de Cristal (Crystal Palace) gardens and melts perfectly with its coubtry like scenery. Besides being a library it also has a soun room and a video room. It also houses a gallery and an auditorium used for conferences, the screening of films and small theatre plays.

Being the most ancient library in the Invicta city, founded in 1833 and placed at the former Santo António da Cidade Convent, a XVIII century construction, presently classified as Public Interest Building. The library has more than 1 200 000 printed documents (monographs and periodical publications) and several special funds, among which we point out, for its sparseness, the manuscripts, from the Middle Ages to our times. This place has Internet access service, juvenile library, sound library (for the visual and motor handicapped) and photocopies, among other services.

Casa da Música is a major concert hall space in Porto, Portugal. It was designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, and was built as part of Porto's project for European Culture Capital in 2001, although it was only finished in the first half of 2005, to immediately become an icon of the city. Museum installed at the Carrancas Palace, built at the end of the XVIII century and which was once the royal family residence. It has collections of decorative arts, painting and sculpture. It also integrates a pottery nucleus, with works of faience from the North of Portugal, jewelry, furniture, glass and oriental china works.

The Serralves Foundation is a cultural institution of European scope, at the service of the national community, whose mission is to sensitize and create interest in contemporary art and the environment through the Museum of Contemporary Art, a multidisciplinary centre conceived by the architect Siza Vieira, the Park, natural heritage dedicated to environmental education and animation, and a centre for reflection and debate on contemporary society. A remarkable space for rotating and temporary exhibitions on Contemporary Art (Painting, Sculpture, etc.). There are also exhibitions in the old Chapel.
Largo Amor de Perdição
Instalado no edifício da antiga Cadeia da Relação, o Centro Português de Fotografia foi criado em 1997, ainda antes da total requalificação e ampliação. Desde 2001, o Centro oferece um programa anual de exposições temporárias a par do Núcleo Museológico permanente que inclui uma tão rara quanto valiosa exposição de máquinas fotográficas. Os visitantes podem aceder ainda a uma biblioteca especializada, uma loja, e um serviço gratuito de visitas guiadas ao edifício e às exposições.
