It is a pillory with a flat column supported by circular stairs. It has conic capital with the Coat of Arms from Alcobaça Abbots and the armillary sphere.

Tribute to General Humberto Delgado, known as the "General without fear". During the dictatorship of the Estado Novo was expelled from the armed forces, after being murdered, in 1965, by the PIDE, on the outskirts of Olivença.
