Former College of the Jesuits, erected on the site where there were the residences of the Távora family, and since 1776 the residence of the captains Generals of the Azores. Inside, there are valuable works of art and furniture, including the best collection of Dutch 17TH-century tiles that exist outside the Netherlands.

Old solar dos Viscondes of Bettencourt, located behind the Cathedral, inserted in the central area of the city of Angra do Heroísmo. It is a Baroque building built in the late 17th century, the early 18TH century. Currently, works here the library and the Hall of records.

Building dating from the late 19th century-early 20th century, located in the historic center of Angra do Heroísmo. Was built by Sir John George Dailey and Paul, remaining in the possession of his family until 1937, when it is acquired by the State for this install Industrial and commercial school of Angra do Heroísmo.

House-Museum consisting of a granary, a haystack and the Villa itself. The interior depicts the structure of typical houses locals, especially the traditional kitchen with an oven to bake bread, Dent and wood stove, and a room with attic.

Manor house built in 1474 at the behest of João Vaz Corte-Real, Captain-major of Angra do Heroísmo. Keep-if some aspects of primitive Gothic construction, despite having already undergone several renovations. Is inserted in the central zone, an area classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Between 1811 and 1816, Almeida Garrett French invasions took refuge in this House. Years later, returns to the island and passes to reside at the Palace of the captains Generals.

Building originally occupied by the Palace of the General Board of the Autonomous District of Angra do Heroísmo. It was later rebuilt, and currently only some walls of the original building. It is currently the headquarters of the Regional Secretariat of education and culture.

Convent built in 1542, being very affected by the earthquake of 1980. It was recovered only in the 21st century.
