O restaurante A Grelha, em Vila Nova de Poiares, fica localizado em plena Estrada da Beira, destacando-se dos demais por ter sido, durante vários anos, o vencedor do concurso da melhor chanfana, instituído pela Confraria da Chanfana de Poiares. Este ano ostenta esse título mas será redutor pensar que esta é a única especialidade da casa. Há também negalhos e enchidos regionais como entradas, bucho recheado de Poiares como pratos principal e ainda a tradicional tigelada e os poiaritos como sobremesas.
