Located at the Casa da Veiga, that dates back to the 18th century, this space aims to promote the study and preservation of the parish's cultural heritage, mainly art works, archeology and ethnography.
The Center for Environmental education and Interpretation of the protected landscape of Corno de Bico is propelling space education program for sustainability of the protected landscape of Corno de Bico. The cultural centre is composed of a permanent exhibitions room and two auditoriums. One of the latter is the famed "estúdio" (studio) that plays films every Saturday and Sunday night. The other auditorium, the multi uses room, is used for several different purposes.
The library contain 12000 titles in about 22000 volumes, of which 5% are multimedia and audiovisual documents and thee remnant books. The space has a reading room for adults and another for the children and the teens. It also has an auditorium and a multimedia room with four computers.
