Freixo de Espada à Cinta is the only place in the entire Iberian Peninsula where silk is still 100% handcrafted.

From this river pier, boats depart for routes along the Douro River, between the Cogida river beach and La Code, Spain, on a journey that encompasses two natural parks: the Douro Internacional and Las Arribas del Duero.
