A natural pool of great beauty, formed by black lava that solidified many years ago when it reached the sea.

The windmills are one of Graciosa's calling cards. Dutch in style, its distinctive red roofs and unfurled sails create a scenery worthy of a visit.

Temple initially erected in the 16th century, then rebuilt in the 18th century. Outside, the highlight is the staircase that precedes the yard and, inside, the main chapel, with its Mannerist gilded altarpiece.

This trail starts and ends next to Canada Longa, passing through Furna do Enxofre and Furna da Maria Encantada, where there is a viewpoint with superb views. After surrounding the Caldeira, it ends at Cana Longa.

Classified as a Regional Natural Monument, this large crater is covered with vegetation, creating a broad green blanket of great natural beauty. Inside, we find Furna do Enxofre, one of the island's landmarks.

Opened in 1983, this museum represents the island's identity. The ethnography and culture of Graciosa occupy a prominent place and the space reconstitutes a rural house, a wine cellar and a mill, also displaying 15th century cannons, uniforms and whaling boats, among others.

This geological phenomenon of great spectacularity and beauty is located inside Caldeira da Graciosa. This lava cave features a circular depression 1600 meters in diameter and 350 meters deep, in the place where the top of a volcano that gave rise to the island was previously located. At the bottom, there is a lake of cold, sulfurous water. The exploration of this cave began in the 19th century by several researchers, including Prince Albert of Monaco.

Installed in the former whale factory of Armações Baleeiras Reunidas, this museum presents a permanent exhibition explaining the work carried out in the factory, namely the process of transforming the whale and the instruments and machinery used. In the blacksmith's workshop, you can see pieces such as harpoons and other materials used in whaling, and also watch them being worked on by artisans.
