This route begins next to Lagoa do Capitão, located on the central plateau in the interior of Pico Island. The first part of the trail is followed on a dirt track until reaching Cabeço do Piquinho. Here you get a wonderful view of the north coast of Pico island, highlighting the final destination of the walk, Cais do Pico.

The Pico Island Vineyard Culture Landscape is made up of Lajido da Criação Velha and Lajido de Santa Luzia, occupying a total of 154 hectares. These sites constitute excellent representations of traditional architecture, landscape design and natural elements, located on extensive lava fields. Since 2004, the vineyard landscape on the island of Pico has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Beach with calm waters that forms a pleasant natural pool, creating an environment of great beauty. It has some support infrastructure.

In line with the Azorean natural pools, the São Roque natural pool is formed by the accumulation of some geological formations next to the sea. It is a small place, but extremely inviting for bathing. A small garden nearby, relatively leafy and wooded, helps make the space even more pleasant and leisure friendly.

Forest reserve with around twelve hectares, located at around 205 meters of altitude.

Church built in 1714, under a primitive church dating from 1480. Inside, highlights include the gilded carvings in the main chapel and a bookcase with ivory inlays, the work of a friar from São Francisco da Horta.

Church with a plan in the shape of a Latin cross, where a bell tower stands out on the facade. It has an attached parish hall and, in the attached area, a cemetery, an empire and a house of the Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit.

Lagoon located on the central plateau of Pico Island, close to the Caiado and Rosada lagoons. It is an area integrated between several volcanic cones, surrounded by vegetation typical of humid areas.
