With the name of the same tourist resort and as it is not a very big beach, Praia de São Rafael becomes a quiet space. Given the physiognomy of the rocks, some are sheltered from the wind. The sea is good for bathing. The rock formations are known as Ponte Pequena (Small Bridge) and Ninho das Andorinhas (Swallows Nest).

Very beautiful, rocky beach, bordered by a cliff. The only drawback is the difficulty in finding parking, as most of the places belong to the accommodations in the vicinity. There are several activities to spend the day, including Environmental Education programs for children.

The Municipal Museum of Archaeology is located in the building where, during the 80s, was the City Hall. This space has areas of study, preservation, restoration and storing of the materials. There is also a small thematic library. The museum’s collection is deeply in touch with Albufeira’s history, from the most remote pre-historic days to the 17th century. The collection is divided in five thematic parts: pre-history, Roman period, Visigoth period, Islamic period and modern ages.

Located next to the typical Algarve village of Olhos de Água, whose name comes from the freshwater springs that sprout in the sand, it is a sand shell occupied, in part, by the fishermen's boats and by the many vacationers who come here. A visit to Olheiros de Água is recommended and also a stroll through the small area of restaurants and some shops.

Beach with an extensive sand area bordered by a beautiful cliff, close to hotels and tourist villages, being much sought after by foreigners. There is a calm bathing area, with almost no waves, favoring a series of sports. Restaurants with pleasant terraces offering menus that focus on fish dishes.

Located in the center of Albufeira, this beach is very popular with vacationers. There is a small port for fishing boats in this place, and from here it is possible to make visits to the caves on the coast. It has a diversified restaurant spot, shops and bars, as well an area with garden benches, shades and a view of the sea.

The Albufeira waterfront is a particularly beautiful area, with a highlight on the rustic roof of the old Albufeira market and the charming sidewalk in Portuguese pavement, which extends in front of Praia dos Pescadores, lit by typical Algarve lamps.

This is an example of the urban and civil architecture characteristic of Braga in the XVI century. The doors and windows are covered with blinds, which represent the monastic tradition of the city.

Museum installed in an old weaving factory, where you can currently see manual looms, which still manufacture rag blankets and blankets. It also has collars and rattles for sheep and other craft products on display.

Of the old village of Jarmelo, currently, only a set of ruins remain located on an elevation from which you can see a vast area, from Serra da Estrela to Serra da Marofa. The story goes that, because of the love between the Infante Dom Pedro and Inês de Castro, this village suffered great violence, and the consequences are still clearly visible today.
