The atelier is located on the upper floor of this house, where a group of weavers dedicate themselves to the art of sewing and weaving, using three looms. On the lower floor there is a traditional loom, an exhibition on the linen cycle and the handicraft shop, where you can buy pieces made by weavers and products from the region, such as honey, tea or handicrafts. In addition to proposing programs of stay with accommodation, promotes workshops dedicated to weaving and photography, as well as routes and tours.

The Bedeteca is the only library in Portugal exclusively devoted to Cartoons and illustration. Here occur many cultural events.

Marble and granite fountain with a nobleman surrounded by two armillary spheres and the symbol of Portuguese monarchy sculpted here.

Founded in 1657, it was the object of profound repairs after the earthquake of 1755. The Hydrograph Institute is presently working here.
