Dating back to the 19th century, Pinhão Railway Station is the most beautiful station in the Douro River. It's known for its tiles, featuring images that reflect life in the region, from hills dotted with vineyards to the hustle and bustle of the harvest.

The Bread and Wine Museum aims to promote two of the town's products: bread and Moscatel de Favaios.

The municipality of Alijó is served by several cruise ships that pass daily on the Douro River and arrive at the Pinhão pier.

Departing from the beautiful Pinhão Station, where you can admire its 19th-century tiles depicting life in the region, you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic views that Pinhão offers: two intersecting rivers, the station itself and the railways, and the train bridge, all integrated into the beautiful green hills. Finish with a stroll along the beautiful riverside area, where the Pinhão River and the Douro River meet.

Baroque and Neoclassical church with a single nave and chancel, with an attached sacristy. Inside, it features a high choir, built-in confessionals, a pulpit on the Gospel side, two side altarpieces and two side altarpieces, in Neoclassical polychrome and gilded woodwork, and a late-Baroque polychrome and gilded woodwork main altarpiece.

A Baroque building with two-story facades, composed of two sections, one dating from the 18th century and the other from the 19th century. The main facade is punctuated by bay windows and crowned by a backrest carved with a coat of arms. The side facades and the interior have been renovated.

Of the six original towers on the walls of Avis Castle, only three have survived, one of which is Saint Roque. The other two towers are Saint Anthony and the Queen.

In this space you can see the collection of Doctor Mário Sá, consisting of archaeological pieces, fieldwork reports and documentation on research work in the field of History, namely the studies on "As grandes vias da Lusitânia" (The Great Routes of Lusitania).
