Baroque chapel was probably built in the 18th century, consisting of a longitudinal plan with a single nave and gable roof coverage. It is believed to have belonged to the convent of Santo António.

Of the six original towers on the walls of Avis Castle, only three have survived, one of which is Saint Roque. The other two towers are Saint Anthony and the Queen.
