This Centre's main objective is to promote and study the figure and the work of Camilo Castelo Branco, preserving the institution's patrimony, in the fields of bibliography, handwritten documents, iconography and Visual Arts.

Localizado na antiga judiaria de Trancoso, este espaço homenageia o médico judeu nascido na localidade em inícios do século XVII, que se tornou Físico-Mor da Corte de Madrid, acabando por se refugiar em Verona, Itália, devido à perseguição religiosa. A sua missão é preservar o legado judaico da região, integrando salas de exposições temporárias, um memorial das vítimas da Inquisição e a Sinagoga Beit Mayim Hayim - Casa das Águas Vivas.

Integrando o edifício de uma antiga unidade fabril, da qual se conserva o forno como galeria museológica, dispõe de auditório e galerias de exposições temporárias. A antiga fábrica foi fundada e iniciou a sua atividade em 1910, dedicando-se ao fabrico da telha tipo marselha e tijolo. Em 1995, foi adquirido pela Câmara Municipal, sendo o Fórum inaugurado em 2001.
