This Palace is located in the well-known Tapada Real, immense space that remains a hunting park and place of great architectural estate. The Palace is connected to a small walled area which, in turn, leads to a patio, which you access by a staircase. Its facade is white-washed and sustains a shot in blue. To engage the iron gate is framed by white marble.

It was built during D. Manuel Kingdom and it is composed by a platform with four steps, base, pedestal, square monolithic shaft and square capital. The finishing is in sphere cup decorated on the two hemispheres with vegan symbols and the crowning is with vegan conic ball. IT is made of marble and it has around eight metres high.
Antigo Convento de Nossa Senhora do Amparo

This was the convent of the order of Saint Paul Hermit and was built following the 16th-century urban expansion. It was composed by Church, chancel, cruise, sacristy and cloister. In the 20th century was adapted in order to make way for an oil refining factory. Today is privately owned and is in a poor state of conservation.

Christian Garden was a doctor and great benefactor in Vila Viçosa. Was quite surprised by his kindness and by thirst to know more, always guided by the concern to apply this knowledge to the illnesses of his patients. The scenarios of misery would hurt their sensitivity, which often provided their services free of charge and lived poor, passing up by difficulties at the end of his life. For such kindness, the people wanted to honor him in myriad ways and, today, the day of his birth became the municipal holiday-August 16. Died at 82 years old and left his house …

4\/18\/1901 was born in Vila Viçosa. He was a professor and University in the current Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. Thanks to their training and talent saw published 114 titles and several articles on mathematics, through which tried to encourage students to study, or wasn't a man who believed in his youth and who had extreme sympathy. Their political concern, especially his Communist militancy, brought him some troubles: was arrested by PIDE and was eventually dismissed from the post of full professor. Died at the age of 47 years, the 6\/25\/1948.

Small chapel, consisting of nave, transept, chancel and vestry. The façade is painted white and, on the inside, is ornamented with a blue facade. Inside are murals and tiles. It is currently used as a chapel.

Chapel on a Thursday, with access to the same port, located a few kilometres from the Centre of the village. The facades are painted in white and blue shot lead base. It consists of nave, chancel, vestry, House of focaccia and sanitary facilities. The interior can be seen polychrome tile and blue and white. Today functions as Chapel.

Situated a few kilometres from the Centre of the village, near the Bullring and the Capuchos convent. This Chapel is located in a typical housing zone and consists of landscaped foyer, chancel and vestry. It was remodelled in the 15th century and 18TH century, part of the nave was demolished, a fact which reduced the Chapel to the chancel and sacristy; the body of the Church was transformed into landscaped foyer.
