This is a Manueline pillory within the heraldic type composed by a five steps base, an flat octagonal shaft and a parallelepiped finish decorated in its angles by pinnacles linked to the crowning. On the faces it has the National Coat of Arms, and on the top there is a conic piece.

This bridge was constructed under the Gothic style with mediaeval origins linking River Coura both banks in Vilar de Mouros, near Nossa Senhora da Piedade chapel. It is characterised by three arches in which the central is the bigger one.

This space displays a variety of objects linked to the lives of the populations of this parish, namely natural and ethnographic heritage assets. It is under the responsibility of LACAM - Liga dos Amigos da Carapinheira e Amigos do Mondego, which collect and disseminate these objects.

The origin of this church may be linked to an old arabic mosque, later transformed by Dom Manuel II in the gothic-manuelin style. A special note to the rose window, the manuelin tower, the hipanic-arabic tiles and the golden carvings in the chancel, of the 18th century.
