Yellow building with arched Windows, located at the former Saint Francisco Covent, gave away in since the beginning of the XX century because of the constant floods. It is a former flour-mill.

Bourgeoisie residence built in the end of the XVIII century. It was bought by E. Korrodi in the beginning of the XX century, and then became the Domingos Sequeira Industrial School. In 1910 it was sold to Dr. Correia Mateus and, after his death, his nice founded there a college with the name of her uncle.

Chapel-like building whose door is in the middle of a glass semi- circle.

Monument whose construction was ordered by the bishop D. Gaspar do Casal in 1557, 12 years after Leiria became a city. During the early XX century, the Convent and the Santo Agostinho church were used as a military lodging. The convent’s cloister and the baroque front sided by two towers deserve a close look.

The Torre de Menagem (donjon) was built by D. Dinis order in 1324. The tower and the enclosed space were used as royal prison from the XIV to the XVIII century. The inside, completely remodelled with a modern iron and wood structure, lodges an interesting museological nucleus, which illustrates the medieval military techniques and the fighting instruments. The castle can be also known through a series of audiovisual documents.
