Playful and educational place dedicated to nature preservation and environmental awareness. There are around 30 hectares, in a reference location in the municipality in terms of leisure and sport in contact with nature.

From here you can get beautiful views of the surrounding green hills.

The forest covers more than 33 hectares and is considered the lungs of this municipality. The highest point in the Forest is 500 meters high, where the Chapel of Santo António is located. It has a picnic park, exercise circuit and leisure areas.

Monte da Guia, next to the Senhora da Guia hermitage, more than a hundred meters above sea level, is a privileged place to enjoy the Porto Pim area and the city of Horta, with its marina. Dividing these two areas of interest, you can see Monte Queimado.
