Alpedrinha

Located on the southern foothill of the Gardunha mountain, with several roman vestiges. It has narrow streets with sidewalks, some parts still roman, granite houses, porches and large staircases. The architectural heritage includes the Mother Church, the chapels of Misericórdia (Mercy), Leão (Lion), Saint Sebastian, Saint Anthony, Child Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the Town Hall, the Commendment and Our Lady of Rosary, the Picadeiro Palace, the pillory, the fountain of Dom João V and the Calvary. The local craftswork includes embroideries, stain objects, forged iron objects, painted tableware and more.
