Praia Norte
A new beach, created specifically for tourism, with a salt water swimming pool.At the Pontal da Nazaré, in the southern extreme, thre is the fortress of the Archangel Saint Michael (17th century) and its lighthouse by the extense sand area and the Nazaré bay.By the cliffs, the high waves hide the Forno da Orca caves, an ecological and well preserved space.The Agueira dune is surprising for being one of the tallest in Europe.It has a first aid office and an aqua park just a few metres away.There are two cafes with a peaceful view of the beach and of the fortress.
