Rua

At the Abobadela parish, council of Amarante, this small village has about 100 inhabitants. Located in a rather pleasant area, by old chestnut trees that once belonged to the Convent of Saint Francis, it has a 17th century pillory (classed as a public interest construction) where the last death penalty in Portugal took place.
