O restaurante Luiz da Rocha, situado no centro de Beja, funciona no primeiro andar de um dos cafés/pastelarias mais antigos da cidade. Dos mesmos proprietários, não é por isso de estranhar que uma das especialidades deste restaurante seja uma sobremesa: a trouxa-de-ovos, confecionada no andar de baixo. Aqui são ainda sugeridos bons pratos da gastronomia alentejana, como a açorda alentejana com bacalhau, as sopas de cação, o borrego à pastora ou em ensopado e as migas alentejanas com carne de porco preto.
