Praia da Ribeira de Ilhas
A rocky beach, with a small stretch of sand and excellent conditions for surfing. It is sheltered by a cliff with amazing panoramic views. Known as one of the best beaches for surfing, it welcomes world championship competitions on a regular basis.

Praia de Odeceixe
A beach located in a fishing village, in a small valley with edenic views. Located in between cliffs, it is crossed by the Ceixe brook that separates the regions of Alentejo and Algarve. There are artificial barriers on the sand in order to try and preserv the dunes. The water is cold and turbulent but excellent for surfing and conoeing. There are some restaurants that serve typical dishes.
Praia do Amado
The Amado beach is a wide stretch of sand protected by small mounts and rocky formations. On the south side there is a small, hidden stretch of sand, hard to get to and almost untouched, attended by naturists. On a subterranean cave they fish the bream, mostly in the first few months of the year. The beach is very well fit for radical sports and pleases the surfers most especially.
Praia da Arrifana
Situated in a small fishing village, this beach is an interesting scoop of sand surrounded by grey ravines which extend into promontories. A truly luxurious landscape, where stands the stone statue of the needle, a large dark, narrow cliff and pointed, cone-shaped, to emerge from the sea, in the extreme south, and traces of the ancient fortress of the 17th century. Clear and transparent blue sea dotted by abundant and small stones mixed with the sand. Ideal for the practice of surf. Costa da Caparica

A beach located in the middle of the Cascais line, very well conceited, located by the mouth of the Tejo river and the fortress of São Julião da Barra.Rather sought after mostly by the youngsters, it has good conditions for winsurfing and there is even a windsurf school there.There are hal a dozen bars and restaurants that offer good mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Praia do Norte / Praia do Algodio
A beach at the centre of Ericeira, composed of a strech of sand and rocks. Attended mostly by tourists and youngsters. There are small typical restaurants with fine dishes and plenty of liveliness on the streets.
Praia dos Supertubos
A very lovely beach at the south entrance of Peniche, surrounded by dunes. The space is attended by surfers and by those who enjoy recreational fishing. It has a beach club with noght animation and an excellent terrace.
Praia do Norte
A very wide beach, surrounded by pine woods and dunes. On the cliff, the caves hide the Gruta do Forno da Orca (a cave), a preserved ecological space. As one visits the beach, one is surprised by the Agueira Dune, one of the tallest in Europe. There is an aquapark.
