A very touristy, lively beach with beautiful scenery. You can also visit the São Tiago Fort. It has several different restaurants.

A famous beach, very popular with tourists, surrounded by dunes, with an area exclusively for fishermen. The long stretch of sand has excellent cliffs for paragliding. This was the second "official" nudist beach in Portugal. Due to its rough waters and strong winds, it is sought after by bathers and enthusiasts of sport fishing, sailing and windsurfing.

It is one of the must-see spots in the riverside parish of Valada. Fluvina welcomes small and medium-sized recreational boats and is a pleasant leisure area, from where it is possible to contemplate a beautiful panoramic view over the Tagus River and the floodplain fields. It is also quite popular with fans of water sports and, right next to it, there is a river beach, much appreciated in the warmer months. There is also a picnic area nearby.

Located in a fishing neighborhood, it has a small sheltered harbor where, as the name suggests, fish that arrived here were once sold. Today it is a tourist beach, with a large sandy area and good quality water. The sea is calm and inviting for swimming.

A sandbar located at the end of the Ria Formosa estuary, accessible by boat or on foot (when the tide is low). Almost untouched, this secluded sandy area is a paradise. Cacela is known for its fortress built in 1770 by Dom Rodrigo de Noronha. From its battlements, atop the hill, there is a magnificent view over the green waters of the estuary and the long dune system of Praia da Fábrica. There are two restaurants where you can savor oysters, shrimp, and clams.

A highly regarded marina, located on the Guadiana River, next to the luxury area of ​​Vila Real de Santo António. It has capacity for approximately 360 boats, a refueling area, and a workshop for repairing sails, hulls, and engines.

Located in a picturesque fishing village, this beach boasts a long, calm stretch of sand, tranquil waters, good infrastructure, and a variety of restaurants. The area features a market, numerous shops, the Arts Centre, and the Ria Formosa Natural Park, all offering excellent reasons for a stroll. If you visit Manta Rota in August, don't miss the craft fair that takes place annually at this time.

For those coming from the west, this is the last beach, overlooking the Spanish town of Ayamonte. Despite its popularity, it offers a peaceful stay and is also sought after by amateur fishermen. Here you can enjoy the sea, the Guadiana River, or stroll through the National Forest of the Coastal Dunes. The sand is extensive and without obstacles.

A very peaceful and pleasant beach surrounded by forest. A small, idyllic cove situated at the foot of the Arrábida Natural Park, with soft white sand and clear, calm bathing waters. It has a small bar.
