A famous beach, very popular with tourists, surrounded by dunes, with an area exclusively for fishermen. The long stretch of sand has excellent cliffs for paragliding. This was the second "official" nudist beach in Portugal. Due to its rough waters and strong winds, it is sought after by bathers and enthusiasts of sport fishing, sailing and windsurfing.

It is one of the must-see spots in the riverside parish of Valada. Fluvina welcomes small and medium-sized recreational boats and is a pleasant leisure area, from where it is possible to contemplate a beautiful panoramic view over the Tagus River and the floodplain fields. It is also quite popular with fans of water sports and, right next to it, there is a river beach, much appreciated in the warmer months. There is also a picnic area nearby.

A sandbar located at the end of the Ria Formosa estuary, accessible by boat or on foot (when the tide is low). Almost untouched, this secluded sandy area is a paradise. Cacela is known for its fortress built in 1770 by Dom Rodrigo de Noronha. From its battlements, atop the hill, there is a magnificent view over the green waters of the estuary and the long dune system of Praia da Fábrica. There are two restaurants where you can savor oysters, shrimp, and clams.
