The architectural set of the Whaling Museum is made up of boathouses from the last century, an attached blacksmith's tent and the space where the library and archive are located. Opened in 1988, it aims to preserve the memory of an activity that marked Azorean life - whaling art. It includes exhibits of pieces crafted from ivory teeth and a whaling canoe, used in whale hunting.

Rotating windmill, fully restored, consisting of masonry walls on the lower floor and wooden walls on the upper floor. At the top, the mast that supports the sails emerges from the conical dome.

Small lagoon located inside the Serra de Santa Bárbara caldera, at 1021 meters above sea level, in an area of high rainfall. It is also within the area covered by the Site of Community Importance of Serra de Santa Bárbara and Pico Alto, where most types of natural ecosystems in the Azores are represented.

The Santa Cruz Natural Swimming Pool is a saltwater pool, measuring 25 by 12 meters, located right in front of the sea. It has changing rooms and a support bar.

Elevation located at approximately 972 meters above sea level, close to large pyroclastic formations. Nearby, you can find Lagoa do Ilhéu, the Chã do Pelado elevation and Lagoa da Rosada.

Without rivaling the cosmopolitan Marina da Horta, the center of Recreio Náutico das Lajes do Pico presents itself as a pleasant and inviting place for a sea trip to observe cetaceans. If you prefer, you can simply walk relaxedly among the boats, with the village of Lajes as a backdrop.

Former Franciscan convent with a rectangular plan with two floors, dating from the 17th century, with an attached church, with a plan in the shape of a Latin cross. In the convent building, the bell tower stands out, with a quadrangular plan and three floors. The church has a single nave, accessed through a stonework portal, located in the middle of the gospel side.

Old fortification dating from the 18th century, of which only some ruins remain. The entire complex was built in stone masonry, except for the area next to the sea, built in reinforced concrete. Inside, there are remains of an old lime kiln, dating back to the end of the 19th century.

Viewpoint located in a large space, at altitude, providing privileged views over the jagged, green slopes of the southern edge of Pico Island and the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.
