The collection of the Museum Center is composed of archaeological objects found near the Castle, especially in the Castro de Lanhoso. The second floor of the Tower has been transformed into an audiovisual space where visitors can learn all about the history of the Castle and the Lands of Lanhoso. The Center also has a multimedia information space where tourists can learn about the various phases of occupation of Monte do Pilar.

A vast area, spanning 170 hectares, encompassing adventure and nature sports activities, lodging, a restaurant, and multipurpose rooms. Activities are numerous and varied, including a 350-meter double slide, a circuit of 38 floating bridges, kayaking, treasure hunts, via ferrata, rappelling, paintball, jeep tours, and more. The panoramic restaurant boasts fantastic views and offers a rich menu and a pleasant terrace. If you wish to stay for more than a day, you can also do so by staying in one of the seven fully equipped rustic log cabins.

The Gold Museum is housed in a goldsmith's workshop at Casa de Alfena (now a rural tourism accommodation unit) and is part of a group of workshops dating back to the 18th century. This space aims to showcase the identity of a community linked to gold work since ancient times. The museum is the result of the efforts of a goldsmith from Travassos, Francisco de Carvalho e Sousa, who, over fifty years of activity, collected gold objects, utensils, and furniture, now exhibited here.

The Casa da Botica is one of the main cultural centers of the municipality. It houses various cultural services, such as the House of Culture and the Municipal Library, with a collection of approximately 15,000 cataloged titles, an area of ​​300 m2 with distinct spaces, including an auditorium and an internet area. It also houses a museum with a permanent archaeology exhibition and various temporary exhibitions.

This is one of the most important Marian Shrines in Portugal. Its main heritage value, included in the attached museum of sacred art, lies in the richness of its artwork, architecture, gilded wood carvings, images of saints from various periods, varied liturgical objects in gold and silver, gold-embroidered vestments, oil paintings of clergy figures, and a valuable collection of ex-votos. This Shrine was elevated to the status of Royal Shrine by Royal Charter in 1873, and together with its eight chapels and staircase, it constitutes one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the municipality.

The Theatro Club was commissioned in 1904 by Antonio Lopes, from the architect Moura Coutinho. The architectural style is particularly relevant in Portugal through the decoration of the facades, especially the use of tiles. Inside, the auditorium stands out, profusely decorated with paintings covering the entire ceiling and the wall surrounding the proscenium arch. Monte do Pilar is a granite spur of great geological interest, being the largest granite monolith in the Iberian Peninsula. It is one of the main tourist attractions in the municipality because, in addition to its magnificent landscapes, it allows for outdoor activities such as rappelling or via ferrata.

Mount São Mamede has an altitude of 750 meters, offering one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Minho region. Besides the phenomenal view, you can visit the Church of Fontarcada, the monasteries of Tibães, Rendufe and Bouro, the Castle of Lanhoso, the Torre dos Machados, and the sanctuaries of Sameiro, Senhora do Pilar and Porto de Ave.
