Com uma decoração tradicional, com um telheiro antigo dentro da sala principal, dedica-se a servir pratos regionais, com destaque para o que o rio, ali tão perto, tem para oferecer. Na época certa há lampreia. Noutras alturas há sável sem espinhas e o cabrito estonado raramente sai da carta. Há ainda um tradicional laburdo, ou seja, uma sopa feita com sangue da matança do porco.
