A place of remarkable natural beauty, popular for water sports, the island is the result of the confluence of the Unhais and Zêzere Rivers.

A vault-type dam on the Unhais River, a right-bank tributary of the Zêzere, offers magnificent views from the seawall, with several fish species.

The Municipal Museum opened in 1997. It features the municipality's ethnographic history in the form of utensils on permanent display. It also has a crafts room displaying works by local artisans.

The Carvalho House Museum houses an ethnographic collection. It has created spaces from typical local homes, such as the kitchen and bedroom, as well as exhibiting traditional agricultural tools.

Located in the northeast of the municipality of Pampilhosa da Serra, on the right bank of the Unhais River, the village of Meãs is home to fewer than 200 inhabitants. The territory of which Meãs is a part predates the establishment of the nation, given the existence of numerous fortified settlements. The typical schist houses lend a distinctive color to this area. Also, noteworthy are the chapel tower and the small shrines.

It is located on the right bank of the Zêzere River. Visit the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church), the Chapel of Santo Cristo, and the Chapel of San Sebastián. August 4th is a village holiday to celebrate the patron saint, Saint Dominic.

This municipality is rich in water resources, particularly waterfalls. Located in Vale Covo, the waterfall boasts a considerable height (327 meters), making it ideal for sport fishing on the Unhais River.

The Artur Vasques Municipal Stadium is one of the main sports facilities in Peso da Régua. It features a covered stand with a seating capacity of 900, locker rooms, a medical station, a press box, and a full-size pitch.

The Caldas do Moledo Hot Springs are located in the heart of the Douro Valley. Their medicinal waters are especially recommended for treating respiratory, skin, rheumatic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
