Museum that has a collection of more than 50,000 matchboxes from around the world, including the first ones made in Portugal. It is now the largest collection of its kind in all of Europe. It all started when Aquiles Mota Lima exchanged a box of matches with an American lady on a steamer bound for England.

The Synagogue of Tomar is probably the oldest gothic Hebrew temple. The temple was built between 1430-60 and closed in 1496, during the expulsion of the Jews. After that it was converted into a prison and in 1923 it was acquired by Samuel Schwarz and donated to the Portuguese state so the Luso-Hebraico Museum of Abrão Zacuto could be created there. It retains a columned structure covered by a cross vault.

Built in 1593 by Filipe I, it is six kilometers long and was intended to supply the Convent of Christ. It has 180 arches, often overlapping, and took twenty years to complete.

Large wooden wheel, one of the ex-libris of Tomar. Located in Jardim do Mouchão, next to the Nabão River, this wheel has pairs of clay buckets, each with a capacity of five litres. It is a model of hydraulic wheel used in irrigating fields or for supplying water to mills.

Arch-vault dam on the Zêzere River, near its confluence with the Nabão. It was completed in 1951 as part of the national policy for the use of hydroelectric resources. The reservoir, with an extension of about 60 km, offers enviable conditions for sports and contact with nature. It is an important strategic water reserve, supplying around three million people daily, the overwhelming majority of Greater Lisbon. The Mata Nacional dos Sete Montes has 39 hectares of forests and gardens that belonged to the Order of Christ for centuries. In 1938 it returned to the State after belonging for a century to the Costa Cabral family, who had acquired it together with the Convent of Christ. The flora is rich, and you can find, for example, pines and wild pines, oaks, oak trees, cypresses and centuries-old olive trees. Also noteworthy is the Charolinha, a small classic temple turned into an island by the surrounding lake.

Bronze Age engravings carved into the lateral surface of two granite boulders, placed side by side. The images represent serpentine motifs, horseshoes and zoomorphic figures.

Beach included in the Natura 2000 network, being an excellent beach for extreme sports. It has a First Aid station and a small support bar.

Marina consisting of two docks, a restaurant, a bar and a sailing school. It is located in the center of Viana and has a large storage capacity for sailboats and small boats.

Bridge over the Lima River, which connects the parish of Santa Maria Maior, in Viana do Castelo, to Darque. It was inaugurated in 1878and designed by the architect Gustave Eiffel.
