It is in the area of the old Jewish quarter, on the street Rua Fonte da Rosa, and is very popular among Jews, who make their prayers there, and curious people from other religions, who seek to know more about the Jewish community. Inaugurated in 1996, the Synagogue can only be visited by appointment, at the Jewish Museum. It is oriented towards Jerusalem and its name is a tribute to the worthy Jew who financed its construction. The Jewish community also has its own cemetery.

An old and rustic village composed of schist and culm houses. According to the local tradition, the lower floor of the constructions is still used as "loja" (a warehouse) for animals. A region with abundant archaeological vestiges. The inhabitants of Lamas de Olo are mostly farmers and shepherds.

Inside, we can find the image of Nossa Senhora da Esperança, who accompanied Pedro Álvares Cabral on the journey he discovered Brazil. The 14th century image is found in a side altarpiece and is much appreciated by those who visit this temple, inaugurated in 1940. The bell tower stands out on the main façade of this church, with eclectic and revivalist marks. It is located in the historic center and offers a privileged view of Cova da Beira.
