Emblazoned house from the 18th century located next to an old Benedictine convent. It has a two-story facade with a balcony over the main door, surmounted by the coat of arms and a ducal crown. Inside, a plaster ceiling with paintings is worth highlighting. It currently houses the Aquilino Ribeiro Municipal Library.

Cultural Foundation created in the location where Aquilino Ribeiro lived, more precisely in a manor house dating from the 19th century where the writer lived. The house-museum has a private chapel, an interior courtyard and farm outbuildings. Here you can find hundreds of the writer's personal objects on display, including books, postcards and photographs.

This pillory consists of a platform with six steps on which a column with a square base rests. The inverted trunk-pyramidal capital features four crowned heads, separated by a rosette. In the center, a larger spire is decorated with winged figures.

In this space, created with to protect endangered species, you can see several species of animals and plants from the region. A great option for a day in full contact with nature.

The objective of this cultural center is to promote cultural and educational activities that contribute to the cultural, civic and social formation of the community. The program of activities promoted in this equipment seeks to cover all age groups, focusing on children's programming.

The Palmela Municipal Library was opened in 1990, occupying the S. João schools building in Palmela.

It has a polygonal base, cylindrical shaft and carved capital, on which sits a coat of arms and crown with an inscription from 1645.

From this point it is possible to observe the typical fields of this region of the country.

The Municipal Museum of Palmela is a set of museum spaces, the most important of which is the Castle Nucleus which, in itself, comprises four zones: Archaeological Space (in situ reading of the history of the fortification), Medieval Occupation and Reconquista, Casa Capelo (history of Palmela and the Order of Santiago) and Military Broadcast Space. In addition to this nucleus, the S. Tiago Visitable Reserve, the Church of Santiago and the Wine and Vine Center are also open to the public — as a permanent exhibition.
