This medium-sized river beach, located on the Vouga River, has two dams, two small waterfalls and a magnificent forest and mountainous landscape.

This small river beach with calm, clear waters is located on one of the banks of the Alfosqueiro River. It also offers a grassy space, tables and benches and lots of trees.

This small mountain range allows you to see Serra do Caramulo, Serra de Montemuro and the entire surrounding region from the top. On clear days you can see the sea and the Aveiro estuary. On this site, there is also a geodesic landmark and a lookout post.

This viewpoint, located on Santa Bárbara Hill, allows you to observe the landscape of the entire surrounding region, namely the village of Oliveira de Frades, the village of Souto de Lafões and some villages spread across the mountainside that already belong to the neighboring municipality of Vouzela.

This viewpoint is located at the top of Monte de Cadafaz, and to get there you have to climb a granite staircase. At the top, there is a small sanctuary with an image of Our Lady of Sorrow and in the middle of the staircase there is a granite cross. The landscape is magnificent, and you can see a large part of the mountain with the various towns spread across the hillside and, in the background, the Serra de Montemuro.

This museum is located in a building from the 40s of the 20th century, in the historic center of the town. On display are archeology collections with Roman coins, Castro and Roman ceramics, milestones, among others. There is also an ethnological exhibition, presenting the linen cycle, some agricultural activities and ancient construction techniques.

This dolmen consists of an irregular polygonal chamber with seven pillars, three of them intact. There are no longer any traces of the corridor, nor of the mamoa, but the covering slab is still preserved. It stands out for being a large dolmen of the Trás-os-Montes type.

This dolmen is a megalith with a burial chamber of medium dimensions, a short corridor, different in plan and elevation, and a surrounding mound. It stands out for being one of the few dolmens with inscriptions and paintings on the internal walls and the only one with paintings on all the pillars of the chamber.

This park, considered one of the largest forest reserves in the country, offers, in addition to the vast trees, a picnic area with stone tables and benches. A perfect place to cool off in the summer or spend a beautiful afternoon with the family.
