Blue flag beach, an area of great beauty, where its magnificent cove and fort stand out. It is a harbor for small fishing vessels.

Former hospital ship, built in the Shipyards of Viana do Castelo in 1955. It currently belongs to the Gil Eanes Foundation, and has been open to the public since 1998. Here you can visit the bridge, the kitchen, the engine room, the medical office, the radiology office, the operating room, several cabins and some temporary exhibition rooms.

A highly regarded beach, with an extensive stretch of fine sand, surrounded by a sea of dunes. It has some quality restaurants and some bars. Here you can practice surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and bodyboarding.

Very pleasant space where you can go for a walk, enjoying the fabulous view over the Lima River, the marina and the city. If you prefer, you can practice sports, namely some extreme modalities. There is also the possibility of jet-skiing, sailing, rowing, canoeing or boating from the marina.

Transition Romanesque church, with a Latin cross plan, consisting of three tiered naves, with side chapels. The portal, with multiple archivolts, features sculptures of the apostles. Flanking the ensemble are two voluminous towers crowned by chamfered battlements.

Museum dedicated to the preservation of ethnographic traditions, around 900 pieces, with emphasis on the Minho costume. Here you can see a permanent exhibition about Wool and Linen in Alto Minho Costume. It also works as a space for temporary exhibitions, with varied themes.

It is in the area of the old Jewish quarter, on the street Rua Fonte da Rosa, and is very popular among Jews, who make their prayers there, and curious people from other religions, who seek to know more about the Jewish community. Inaugurated in 1996, the Synagogue can only be visited by appointment, at the Jewish Museum. It is oriented towards Jerusalem and its name is a tribute to the worthy Jew who financed its construction. The Jewish community also has its own cemetery.

Irregular urban complex organized in three poles, which correspond to the consecutive phases of construction: from the 9th to the 13th century, from the 13th to the 19th century, and finally, from the 15th to the 18th century. Among the various monuments that you can visit here, highlight the Belmonte Castle, the Church of São Tiago and the attached chapel of Cabrais and the pillory.

It was Pedro Álvares Cabral, with the discovery of Brazil in 1500, who inspired the creation of this attractive and interactive Museum. The Interpretation Center "À Descoberta do Novo Mundo" (Discovering the New World) is distinguished by the use of modern technologies and museographic techniques that make the visitor "go back" more than 500 years and feel like discovering Brazil. Whether passing through the interior of a ship, the high seas or a colorful market on the other side of the Atlantic, this museum provides differentiating experiences.

Inside, we can find the image of Nossa Senhora da Esperança, who accompanied Pedro Álvares Cabral on the journey he discovered Brazil. The 14th century image is found in a side altarpiece and is much appreciated by those who visit this temple, inaugurated in 1940. The bell tower stands out on the main façade of this church, with eclectic and revivalist marks. It is located in the historic center and offers a privileged view of Cova da Beira.
