Propicia ainda cultura e a educação, vertentes para as quais contribuem os edifícios aí implantados, a Casa do Território, o Anfiteatro e os Serviços Educativos.

The Casa do Vinhal (Vinhal House) has a garden that is accessed by a stairway that has a faucet with a gargoyle. A special note to the fountain at its centre, two sequoias and the entrance alamede that is sided by lime trees. Both the house and the garden are classed as Public Interest Constructions. The visits must be previously reserved.

A wide space with trees, a leisure area and the Casa das Artes (The House of the Arts).

A wide natural area, ideal for strolls among the vast pinewoods with picnic areas and a maintenanc circuit. Fit for open air activities and for being in touch with nature.For centuries, the wood that came out of these pinewoods were used in the local ovens and in the shipyards.

A small lake located in the Machada Woods, with lush vegetation and little depth.

A park with 14 há, with lawns and plenty of trees. It has a lake and a brook, two cafes and an area for radical sports woth halfpipe and climbable wall. It also has a tennis club with four courts, a reading garden, a terrace and a picnic area. The building Américo Marinho, that houses the Centre of Fine Arts, the Centre of New Technologies and the Arts Sector of the Barreiro Town Hall is located here.

Pequena aldeia em pleno Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela, perto de Loriga, pertencente ao concelho de Seia. Tem ganho dinamismo na altura das festas, quando se transforma em Aldeia Natal.

Located on a foothill, this is one of the old villages in the parish with strong rural and cultural traditions. The majority of the inhabitants are farmers. A special note to the local craftswork, such as the Arroiolos tapestries, the linens, the flutes and the stone sculptures.
