A park with an excellent location in the parish, with a 4.5 hectares area. Fit for leisure and for sports. It crosses the Sentiais brook, thus providing an even more pleasant meeting of nature.

A green area that spreads along the Ferrira river banks, with a small dam in the middle. It has two wooden bridges connecting the banks, many trees and wide lawns. The isolation from the city's confusion is absolute. There are some wooden tables and benches.

From the Castle of Alcácer do Sal one can view the Sado river and the planes of the Alentejo region. Ideal for taking great photographs.

A dam located in the Xarama river (Sado's River Basin) right in the planes of the Alentejo region. Fishing and swimming are allowed. Motor boats and surfing are allowed with some restrictions.

Spacious garden with various tree species, benches and playground. One of the ex-libris of Borba is located here, the Fonte das Bicas.

Village created in the 15th century, whose lands were owned by D. Luís Galvão Coutinho Freire. Its populations lived, essentially, at the expense of agriculture, given the fertility of the land for cultivation. Since it was close to Vila Viçosa, Estremoz and Borba, abandonment became inevitable. It had almost 40 inhabitants, but in the 80s it was abandoned, until, in 1998, it was acquired and recovered to give rise to the Village Tourism.

This small group of houses is located by the Marvão mountain. Located inside 17th century walls, it stands out for its unity and homogeneity. Located near Spain, this border fortress that exists since the 12th century had its first charter in the 13th century. A special note to the castle, a National Monument, the Convent of Our Lady of Estrela (Star), the pillory and several churches. A nice area for mountaineering.

Classed since 1978 as a public interest parish, Piódão is located near the Hermínios Hills and is one of the oldest villages in the country, surrounded by wide green areas. The village was firstly inhavited by sheperds. Its houses are mostly made of schist. Because it is difficult to get to, the village is known for the escape of well known criminals. A special note to its four chapels: Saint João, Saint Bárbara, Our Lady of Saúde (Good Health) and Our Lady of Good Parto. The local gastronomy includes the kid's chanfana, the tigeladas, the pão de ló, the filhós …

The Vilamoura Environmental Park occupies an area of 200 ha of land owned by Vilamoura and was created with the aim of ensuring the preservation of ecosystems of great natural and landscape value. It integrates different areas of land occupation, which originates different types of habitats, with emphasis on wetlands dominated by reedbeds, areas of agricultural land, golf courses, and an area with dense riparian vegetation along the Ribeira de Quarteira.
