This House-Museum, donated by Marta Ortigão Sampaio to the Porto municipality, rebuilds the atmosphere of the former owner, showing mostly jewellery and painting (we point out the works of Aurélia de Sousa, Sofia de Sousa and other painters from the end of the XIX, beginning of the XX centuries).

Set of three chapels: one of quadrangular and domed cover with spherical Iron Cross and rooster in the shot and the other two with a square plan and a six-sided pyramid-shaped cover with spherical Finial. Were all built in the 16th century, with the aim of showing the three stages of the passion of Christ.

This manor house is composed by two volumes constructed in different times and it also has a chapel constructed in honour of São Domingos. One of the bodies shows an erudite construction with Renaissance lines. It should be pointed out the stonework and its decoration and also the chapel façade from the seventeen hundreds.

It has three amphitheatres, one of which with 720 seats, another with 360 seats and a third one with 145 seats. Besides that, it has an auditorium at the Venepor Shopping centre with 360 seats. It offers backup materials to organize conferences, congresses and colloquiums, among others. It has 6 galleries for temporary exhibitions and the library/municipal archive with micro filming and restoration, "hemerotheca", a juvenile library, a video collection and a record collection (fonoteca).

This street that was, for a long time, the goldsmith street, was built in the XVI century, by order of the King Dom Manuel I. Nowadays this street is worthy of a visit not because of the goldsmith's shops windows but because of the buildings that keep the characteristics of other times, namely the iron balconies. It is on this street that you’ll find the Misericóridia Church, dated from the XVI century and rebuilt from 1748 on, according to Nicolau Nasoni’s proposal.
