Rectangular cistern located in the basement of a residential building. The access is through an arch with imposed iron gate and a protruding, which leads to a sort of tunnel that leads to the water. No one knows for sure when it was built, pointing to the 13th and 14th centuries.
Arco Romano de Beja

Possibly built between the 1st and 4th centuries AD, this arch is supported by two towers and is integrated into the medieval castle, outside the citadel. Also known as the "Évora Gate," its main function was to provide access to the barbican that surrounds the keep.
