In the heart of the historic center, the Church of São Pedro stands out, with a chapel in the Alentejo Gothic style, dating from the 16th century. Afterwards, stroll through its narrow streets, where you will find some restaurants, cafes, and small shops.

The castle of the old town is located at its highest point and stands out in all the surrounding areas. An old 16th century engraving, of Duarte D'Armas, shows the thre areas of the time. A special not to the pillory, the houses with coats of arms, the old bridge and the gallows.

A very old village in a granite land, surrounded by pine trees, eucaliptus trees and bushes. It is a grandiose natural heritage. From pre-history there are imposing megalithic monuments. Several churches and chapels, as well as a pillory with some manuelin vestiges stand out.

The garden goes back to 1881, being that in 1930 a monument paying homage to Alfredo Keil, composer and the author of the National Hymn, was raised. It has small lake and about 12 species of trees, with a coralina and a sumauma with 14 metres high standing out.

Small garden with aristocratic aspect, located in front of the Palácio das Necessidades. The waterspout stands out, with its rose marble obelisk and four bronze frowns as well as the belvedere offering a panoramic view of the Tejo River and the 25 de Abril Bridge.

Space also known by Parque Municipal do Monte, located about 550 metres high. Pleasant spot, with various native and exotic species and some centenary trees. Standing out, in the middle of the park, is a lake with a map of Madeira made in stone.

In this 2 floors building, the interior stairway and the neoclassic tiles that ornament the forecourt stand out. The upper floor is more noble for its decorative riches. It has an outstanding iron balcony that ends in a curved fronton with a coat of arms above the main entrance.

Built at the Escura Street it was later transferred to the spot it at nowadays. It started by being dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Assunção, whose festivity happens in August and of whom the tailors were especially devoted to. From this connection came out its popular name.

Baroque House of L-shaped plant, consisting of two horizontal and articulated volumes with two floors. On the main facade stands out a coat and a staircase which gives access to the second floor, intended for housing (the ground floor was intended for the cellar and storage).

Is a true festival of fun. With 16 attractions, water roller coaster and wave pools, this space is breathtaking with so much energy and adrenaline. With more than 740 meters of travel in and out of water, this roller coaster reaches the 70 miles per hour.
