The Romantic Routes are formed by 5 thematic roads that aim to show a little of the contradictions that existed in Porto on the eighteen century, romantic and bourgeois, rural and industrial. The first road, "Porto do Romantismo", has the gardens of Palácio de Cristal as its starting point. The walk continues through the Entre-Quintas Street and, going round the Macieirinha Street you will find the atmosphere of an eighteen century suburbs, the place of election of the English who had their business on Nova

Fortified settlement of little breadth, located in the same row of the castros de Vilarinho de Negrões and Morgade, dominating, together, the whole valley of Rabagão. Retains a thick wall, surrounding the mound, and that in some points is about five feet thick. Inside, there are traces of buildings. At the top of Mount was placed a high tension pole cut partially to wall. East side access would be easier, and it is this location which will have built a moat, of which traces still remain.

In the main square of the Jewish quarter is the famous ḥanukkah that lights up every year during the Festival of Lights, which usually takes place on the last weekend of the year. The cruise and the Shrine of our Lady of conception are a devotional structure supported by a plinth placed on a platform. The cruise, with a small octagonal shaft is topped by a ball which supports a Celtic Cross. In front of this are the Shrine of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, a beautiful work of masonry. Granite block, rectangular format, where, on the front, was carved a deep niche with arched top, framed by humanized figures holding a wreath. Inside the niche is the sculpture of our Lady of the conception on a Crescent Moon.
