Located near the city's courthouse, this 1930s building stands out for its interesting and extensive collection of tile panels. In total, there are 55 figurative panels, along with eight decorative ones made in the old Sacavém Factory, featuring tourist and regional promotional motifs. The building, which has a distinct architectural style, was built on the site where the old open-air market was held for centuries, in what was known as Praça Velha.

Manueline building where stands out the gate assigned to Marcos Pires, the triumphal arch and the vault of the chancel of Diogo de Castilho. The altarpiece of the main Chapel, triptych, presents in the center pane Nossa Senhora da Graça on the side panels and the conversion of St Paul and the fall of Simon Magus, representing the primitive Portuguese painting. Note also the altars with 16th century paintings and tiles from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The Santo Ildefonso Church is placed at the beginning of the street with the same name. This church stands out immediately for its azulejos (tiles), which cover almost all of it. Its reconstruction started in 1730, because the first church was in ruins, and ended in 1737. The walls have Jorge Colaço’s azulejos (1932), with scenes from Saint Ildefonso’s life and Eucharist allegories. The lateral altars are neoclassical works and the co-lateral altars are rococo.

In the 18th century the church was reconstructed over an older one. It has a curious façade ofe the final baroque. Above the portico, sided by the images of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the sculpture of Daint Jack "mata-mouros" (killer of Moors) stands out. It has a bell tower and the interior has one nave covered by an ogival dome of jagged ends. A special not to the carvings in the pulpit, the baptismal washbasin and its supporting column.

A national monument that stands out for its grandeur and architectural beauty. Dedicated to Our Lady of the Conception, it is believed to have been built between 1672 and 1711 by the Society of Jesus, later becoming the Patriarchal Seminary. It features a Mannerist façade and structure and a Baroque interior, with striking polychrome stone inlays, gilded wood carvings, and paintings on the ceilings of the nave and chancel. It has a 19th-century pipe organ and houses the Diocesan Museum.

This mountain belongs to the Old Massif of Entre Douro e Tejo and its highest point is at 1227 meters. It also has a dense afforestation due to the extensive planting work, namely chestnut trees, carried out at the end of the 13th century, during the reign of Dom Dinis. It presents a great diversity of flowers, having some unique species in Portugal. A popular pilgrimage is held annually at the top of the mountain in the chapel of São Macário.

The Tavern Restaurant of Matilde in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, works from the 4:30 pm till 02:00, in the same building as the Rainbow restaurant, and it mainly serves snacks, among which stand out the cod fritters, the sausages, the caldo verde, the gizzards, the migas of fish and the ear in green sauce. The average price varies between € 12 and €17,50, with many customers to start an afternoon tasting and prolong the meal into the night.

This church, probably built in the 18th century, underwent successive renovations over the centuries, especially in its interior, as can be seen by the diversity of decorative styles. Inside, the nave's ceiling stands out with its neoclassical painting, as does the chancel with 32 coffers depicting hagiographic themes, and the main altarpiece of polychrome and gilded wood in the Joanine Baroque style. The angled side altarpieces, also in polychrome and gilded wood, are in the Rococo style.

A 900 metres long pedestrian trail that connects Nazaré and Pederneira, a fishing village of medieval origins. There, one may visit the Mother Church of Our Lady of Areias (Sands) and the Church of Misericórdia (Mercy). The views of Nazaré are also worthwhile and Pederneira is the perfect place to admire them.

This route starts at the Church of Água Retorta and ends at Faial da Terra, with an approximate duration of two hours and a length of about 6.2 miles. Along the way you can get magnificent panoramic views over the Água Retorta, Pico Bartolomeu and Pico da Vara.
