A village located on the foothills of the Gardunha and Estrela mountains and on the valley of the Cova da beira. It has some manors that are worth a look. It still has traditional activities, such as folkloric groups, philarmonia bands and drumming groups.

A luxury inn, located by the Galé beach's cliff, in an area of great beauty. Exclsuive, with a rather sophisticated service, much frequented by habitués. It was built with a Moorish style and it looks a littel like a small Oriental palace.

The Ramalde House was rebuilt in the XVIII century by Nasoni. This building is rectangular, with a central tower and an exterior staircase with two flights, maybe influenced by the primitive medieval construction. Inside, Nasoni gave it a neo-Gothic look.

A restaurant located in an ancient manor that now belongs to the Boega Inn, very good looking and with a kind service. The meal starts to the ringing of a bell and is served in the self-servic system, with only one dish on the menu.

This space displays a variety of objects linked to the lives of the populations of this parish, namely natural and ethnographic heritage assets. It is under the responsibility of LACAM - Liga dos Amigos da Carapinheira e Amigos do Mondego, which collect and disseminate these objects.

The origin of this church may be linked to an old arabic mosque, later transformed by Dom Manuel II in the gothic-manuelin style. A special note to the rose window, the manuelin tower, the hipanic-arabic tiles and the golden carvings in the chancel, of the 18th century.

Medieval bridge with probable date of construction in the 13th century, located 7 km of Pinhel, linking the banks of Ribeira do Piggy with the banks of the river Massueime. It was built of granite and has a round arch, the Board is paved and repaved in the 20th century.

The Vasco da Gama bridge across the Tagus River, linking the region of Montigo and Alcochete to Lisbon and Sacavém. April 4, 1998 was inaugurated, at the time of Expo 98 in Lisbon. Is one of the longest bridges in the world, with approximately 17 kilometers long.

The Hotel Mercure Lisboa, situated just five minutes walk from the Gulbenkian Museum and the Zoo of Lisbon, was the subject of renewal at the beginning of 2013. This remodeling has the signature of architect and Decorator Teresa Leonidas, which was inspired by the Águas Livres Aqueduct, for which this hotel has a privileged view.
