Classed as city's heritage, built by the end of the 19th century, this restaurant belogs to the Acez "Albergaria" and has author's cuisine with typical regional flavours. The space is surrounded by glass windows and one can thus enjoy the beauty of the gardens and of the artificial waterfalls. Luxury yet discrete.

Ample room restaurant, located on the outskirts of Aveiro, very well known in the region for its barbecued chickens (and, incidentally, also known as Guri of Chickens). Their specialties, in addition to the roasted chicken, are the fish, as it should be given its proximity to the ria, and the famous leitão da Bairrada.

Facing the Palácio Nacional de Sintra (Sintra's National Palace), the Café de Paris is captivating for its mural paintings and that of the ceilings. It is a refined restaurant, located in a very old house, that serves regional dishes with some author's influences. On Wednesday nights there are fado performances.

The LBV 79 is the LBV House Hotel restaurant in Alijó. The Douro River is the scenario that you will see from the dinning room, whose contemporary concept combines also with the cuisine. The base is regional and gives primacy to the autochthonous products. There is also a wine bar and a lounge area.

Rustic and cosy space with a nice terrace, offering good regional dishes. The restaurant is 100 metres from the sea that inspires the kitchen work, though, for here, the boss is the grill. Also you can select the oven or frying. It is only open from March to September.

The square has strong connections with the Discoveries, this was the former sand-pit where the Real cais de Belém used to anchor. Now it is a gardened area, sided by quickset hedges and trees (nettle-tree and stone pine), lake and sculptures, with the Afonso de Albuquerque, vice-king of India, statue, manueline style, standing out. This garden presents also four statues created by Barata Feio, placed at the square corners.

Church of the former Franciscan Convent of Santa Clara, founded in the 15th century. At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the city of Beja suffered extensive destruction of its heritage, and only the church, the cloister, the chapter house, and adjacent rooms survived from this former convent. The Gothic portal on the facade stands out, and inside, the gilded woodcarving and tilework are noteworthy. The Queen Dona Leonor Museum is now located within the convent.

Convent built by D. Lourenço Pires de Távora in 1558. It has a façade surrounded by corners topped off in the acroteria by flames and an interior porch with three arches. The large window of the choir is topped by a niche with a clay sculpture. In the galilee, tile panels stand out. Located in the area of the Protected Landscape of Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica, from there you can contemplate the landscape of the coast of Lisbon, Estoril and Cascais.
