Located on the Costa Vicentina, this park benefits from its excellent location, providing you pleasant moments in the field in conjunction with nature. One of the strengths is without doubt the proximity from the beaches of Arrifana and Amoreira. Typical “monte” of Alentejo set on a farm with 12 hectares, crossed by the Aqueduct that supplies the city for centuries. Its name origins from the legend of Geraldo Geraldes “the fearless” that would have hidden there the sword he used to conquer Évora, in 1165.

The house of the Ferrazes Bravos is a noble house from the first half of the XVII century. It has a chapel on the limitrophe that opens to the ground. The main façade and the posterior have a resistant element and frames in carved granite work. To get to the noble floor you’ll have to climb a stairs with various columns and capitals also in granite. The forged iron bars at the balconies stand out.

The Carris offers two alternative touristic circuits, in double-deckers: The Tejo and the Orient Express circuits. They both start in Praça do Comércio and have an interpreter guide. The passengers may leave the bus whenever they want to visit any particular place they are interested in and, then, return to the circuit again. The Tejo circuit runs through downtown and the historical area of Belém, where you can see monuments such as Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower and Padrão dos Descobrimentos (stone monument of the Portuguese discoveries).
