Irregular urban complex organized in three poles, which correspond to the consecutive phases of construction: from the 9th to the 13th century, from the 13th to the 19th century, and finally, from the 15th to the 18th century. Among the various monuments that you can visit here, highlight the Belmonte Castle, the Church of São Tiago and the attached chapel of Cabrais and the pillory.

Here you will find collections of historic cartography, traditional boats, navigation instruments, models of ships and boats, among other curiosities that illustrate the maritime history and activity of the Portuguese. Worthy of notice are the models of ships from the Discoveries period, sailing-boats from the XVIII century and ships with mixed propulsion, from the XIX until the XX century.

The masonry units here attest to the existence of Roman dwellings from the 1st century to V, with changing rooms, warehouses, salting fish and buildings with frescos and mosaics. These ruins are classified as Property in the public interest.

Former Carthusian Convent, founded in the early 17th century by Saint Bruno, features a small cloister with three arches in each wing and a limestone façade.

This iron sculpture represents the time of the murder of Inês de Castro, taking as inspiration the picture painted in the early 20th century by Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro.

Idanha-a-Velha stands on the site of the glorious city of Egitânia, invaded and sacked countless times. Here we find vestiges of prehistory, the Celts, Roman Classicism, the Suevi, the Visigoths, the Arabs, the Portuguese Middle Ages, and buildings from the Manueline period. The Egitaniense Epigraphic Museum is housed in the town's cathedral, originally built on an early Christian temple and the first Visigothic cathedral built in the Iberian Peninsula. The garden is located behind the building and is composed of boxwood on hedges, linked by stairways and a fountain with three faucets. The garden and the farmlands are surrounded by wide woods. The house dates back to the 17th century.

The farm is a work from the early XVIII century, by the architect J. Frederico Ludovice. The classification includes the following parts of the building: main façade, entrance gate to the yard, façade over the yard, posterior façade, set of chapel and its paintings and all the artistic elements of architecture and sculpture that can be found in the gardens and the park.
