This village owes its name to the existence of large Neolithic caves in the region, linked to various local legends. Here you can visit the main church, rebuilt in the 16th century, with a tomb, patterned tiles lining the entire nave, and a 15th-century polychrome stone bas-relief, as well as a medieval bridge. Wooden miniatures represent local crafts.

It is the largest urban park in the country, with an area of 83 hectares that extends to the sea.
