Old Largo do Chafariz do tank, tank is circular, with a beautiful Freestone work.

Fountain of backrest dated 1868\/1869. It consists of a semicircular tank, stop for coffee and a protection in iron, a cornice and an urn.

Fountain with pyramidal system, height blocks tapering towards giving great monumentality. The fountain is part of the coat of arms of the town of Barcelos, consisting of a bridge of three arches.

Its construction was ordered by the archbishop Frei Agostinho de Jesus. It was previously placed at the former Campo de Santana, right in the city centre.
