A settlement located at an altitude of approximately 700 meters, offering a beautiful view of the Côa Valley. It is a former municipal seat, where coats of arms can be found on the granite masonry houses and several mansions. Architectural highlights include the pillory, the main church, the Misericórdia Church, the Stations of the Cross, the town hall, and a 17th-century manor house. Cheesemaking and basketry make up the region's crafts.

Dam located on the Ribeira de Reveladas (Tejo River Basin). It is used for irrigation and water supply. The Apartadura reservoir area is located within the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. It allows for the practice of motorless water sports.

Situated on a promontory overlooking the right bank of the Guadiana River and the left bank of the Oeiras River, lies the urban agglomeration of Mértola. Its privileged location has allowed it great military and commercial importance. This picturesque village, with traditional houses and a significant built heritage, has earned it the status of a "Museum Village." Intense archaeological activity has uncovered this vast heritage. A stroll through Mértola reveals the Castle and the Parish Church, both classified as National Monuments.

Straddling the municipalities of Mértola and Serpa, this waterfall is of rare beauty. It's approximately 14 meters high, in a place of rich geological heritage, where the river flows with a tremendous roar between two cliffs. A narrow rocky strait strangles the river so much that it overflows, forming a waterfall. The imposing landscape lends a unique beauty to this place, steeped in legend and history. During floods, the drop in water level is reduced, allowing several species to travel upstream to spawn.

This garden is punctuated by beds of camellias and ornamental shrubs, and the landscaped terrace is flanked by walls. Along the farm's structures, there is a trellis-covered path supported by granite columns and flanked by stone paths. Being a private property, intended for the production of one of the region's most renowned Alvarinho wines, visits to the gardens are only possible with the owners' consent. However, the view from outside, along the farm's entrance gate, is majestic.

Located in a large green area on the right bank of the Mira River, it offers recreational and leisure facilities, with a themed trail that allows visitors to explore the riverside area.

Navigable from its mouth to Odemira, the Mira River is known for the beauty of its estuary. The significant variety of habitats and cultures, the marshland, the rice paddies, the sandbars, and the beaches and cliffs are unique.
