A medieval settlement that was once the seat of the municipality between 1120 and 1836, it boasts the castle, a former Templar fortification restored by Gualdim Paes. Also noteworthy are the keep and a wall, listed as National Monuments, the pillory, the main church, and the chapel of Nossa Senhora do Torrão, built into the rocks. This location boasts numerous historical elements of Romanesque, Manueline, and Baroque styles. Its sulfurous mineral-medicinal waters are worth mentioning.

A large gravity dam located at the crossing point between the Mondego Valley and the Douro Valley. It belongs to the Torto River and is used for municipal water supply. Sports activities are permitted, with some restrictions.

A settlement located on the left bank of the Marialva River, atop a hill surrounded by pine trees and cliffs. Its inhabitants are mostly dedicated to agriculture, with emphasis on cereals, wine, and olive oil. It has military roots, having also been occupied by the Goths and Romans and, later, by Dom Afonso Henriques. Marialva is divided into three nuclei: Devesa, which extends across the plain to the Marialva River; Arrabalde, which extends beyond the walls; and the Citadel, within the walls, which recently ceased to be inhabited.

The Santar Garden is a pleasant space for a peaceful stroll. It features benches, large trees, and a statue honoring Queen Saint Isabel.
