Beach in Portugal
A beach located in the middle of the Cascais line, very well conceited, located by the mouth of the Tejo river and the fortress of São Julião da Barra.Rather sought after mostly by the youngsters, it has good conditions for winsurfing and there is even a windsurf school there.There are hal a dozen bars and restaurants that offer good mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Rua da Praia Formosa
Beach located ten minutes away by car from Funchal city centre. It has two small beaches of sand and one with shingles, called Arieiro. It has Blue flag and is watched by a team of lifeguards. It is an attractive spot because it offers many sports practice and a lively nightlife. It has three healthcare assistance posts, WC, playground for children from 2 to 12, car park and locker rooms.
Largo do Socorro
Beach located in the old town area, right next to the São Tiago Fortress. It is a seaside complex with pool and access to the sea, with good conditions for visitors and certified water with Blue Flag. It has locker rooms, WC, lockers, playground and fist aid sickberth.

A small river beach located by the small town of Fuseta. Despite its dimensions and the fact that the water quality could be better, it becomes crowded with tourists in the summer. Nearby there are several restaurants that serve mostly shellfish dishes.
Praia de Porto de Mós

A small sand shell between colourful cliffs, with interesting rocky formations. To get there, one must descend 200 steps and then pass a tunnel that will take us to the Luz Beach.

A small port, located by the fishing docks and the pier from where the boats to the Berlengas islands depart. It has paid parking, a few shops and fine restaurants with typical dishes.
