Also known as Barragem de Nossa Senhora da Graça (Dam of Our Lady of the Grace), this cement dam was inaugurated in 2000. It is located at the village of Santo António, on the Côa river.

Sortelha is one of the oldest small towns in the entire country. Located on the top of a rocky hill at an altitude of more than 760 metres. With excellent defensive conditions, it was inhabited, at first, by castros (celtic villages) and, much later, it was peopled by the king Dom Sancho II. Of the medieval castle, that was several times transformed, some defensive towers, the donjon and some gothic gates along the walls still remain. A special note to the 14th century mother church, with baroque carvings on the high altar from the 18th century.

Known for Municipal Forest António Pereira Afonso, this location is considered the lung of the city, being composed of 3.5 hectares. Ample green space, with lots of greenery and trees.

The most well known belvedere in Nazaré, located in the Sítio, in the place named Promontório. This rocky formation ascends abruptly from the Nazaré beach and it is the plain with the Sítio da Nazaré, at an altitude of 110 metres.

A small lagoon in the dense pine woods of Leiria, by Valado dos Frades. A little known refuge where one may cool down in perfect peace.

The Jamor National Sports Centre began construction in 1944, along the right bank of the river Jamor. Is, since then, a space dedicated to sports (including the sport of high competition) and leisure. In addition to the well-known National Stadium, offers swimming pool, athletics track, tennis courts, golf and minigolf, adventure park and walking routes.

Garden of large dimensions with a luminous fountain, from 1940, from Rebelo de Andrade. The large lawn and the arboreous grove, with Australian pines, Canary palm-trees, stone and bastard pines characterized this garden. This space has a playground, game’s tables and belvedere.

A very simple, large space, where the population goes mostly during the weekend, which is presently one of the main leisure and sportive areas at the Olivais. It includes a playground, maintenance circuit, games field and a central lawn.
