Quinta da Cardiga

Next to the Tajo River there is this impressive estate that used to belong to the Templar Knights from Christ Order. This space has kept some elements from the fifteen hundreds such as the Manueline doorway and the glazed tiles from the 16th and 17th centuries. The estate is composed by several buildings: the tower, a chapel, a wine store, a barn, a cloister and a Palace.
