Tróia Golf Championship Course
Tróia Golf, by many considered the best "Championship Course" of Portugal, was designed by renowned Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1980. Its 18 holes, Par-72, have a length of 6200 feet (6914 yards), a "course" rating of 74.8 and a slope rating of 124 ("tees" more indented). In 2003 it was considered the best golf course in Europe by Golf World magazine. Tróia Golf Championship Course has to offer a very comfortable Clubhouse, built in a rustic style, with excellent quality services: Golf reception, pro-shop, bar, restaurant and a nice terrace overlooking the green 18. And, yet, a superb "Driving Range", with two "putting-greens" and a practice of "chipping" and "bunker".
